I too had a problem after update on windows 10.
I wanted to cut some WHITE thin card, the machine followed the correct path but the laser would not even mark the card and changing the speed and power did nothing. Tried it on BLACK card and it worked as it should. What do I need to do to correct this please.

Are you using a diode laser? Diodes use visible light, and white paper or card reflects nearly all the energy from diode lasers, making it very hard to burn. That would explain why black works. The software has no idea what color your material is.
