Every time i use lightburn my cnc(shapoko 5 pro 4x4)gives me different cordinance every time i use it I have the table set for 812mm x812mm in the settings in the console i have $30=1000 $32-1 I just started lightburn and the consol is all squares and triangles and i cant input anything . I just got done doing a project and it came out fine.I shut everything down and returned later to get my settings in the console all squares and triangles.
Does your Shapeoko has limit switches?
Are you homing each time and using absolute coordinates on the “START FROM” area in Laser Panel
Yes it does have switches. Ive tried everything you have mentioned thats how i know its different every time. A lot of times when i choose The 0 0 spot it ends up going to an area and just grinds my machine. sometimes it does it sometimes it dont. Ill probably reinstall lightburn next time i go out as im not getting anything from it now all i get is goblledie goop in the console.
Could you post a screenshot of your lightburn with your project open
Also, in console can you type ?
Press enter
And post the output please

Well still having trouble. Lightburn doesnt keep any of my settings except for my machine and the artwork. The $32=1 settings in the console i have to put in by hand every time i start LB.The macros dont seem to work for me Ive input them but they dont seem to work. The little reminder popup is comming in handy. So what ive been doing is homing my machine then manually bringing it to my origin and setting it then bring it where i want it so stop and setting the finishing position. That’s been working but its kinda inconvenient .Ive forgotten to set it a few times and as my laser sits on the right side it ends up crashing at the home point but if i set the finish point That doesn’t happen.
What is your Baud Rate in Carbide Motion and Lightburn?
And if you define your laser settings in Carbide Motion?
And what @gilaraujo typed?
