Circle/round frame

When using the circle frame button, it seems the laser head jitters…i dont know how to explain it but the entire machine shakes! i cant even move this massive beast of a machine, but round frame on a circular object… and its like an earthquake!

should i just try lowing the speed of the frame/movement? is it some other issue?

have we determined what was the best setting to adjust?

Hey Nick,

Yes, rubber-band framing is known to exhibit the jitters at times. Oz offers a bit of an explanation in this post linked below.

Uneven rubber band frame movments

There is no simple solution unfortunately - The speed value is taken from the ‘Move’ window in LightBurn. The reason it shudders is because framing moves always come to a full stop, so curves, broken into short segments, will cause a lot of stop/start motions in a row.
