Coffee Mugs engraving and color infill

I want to engrave some ceramic coffee mugs.

I have never tried to engrave ceramic anything.

Any guidelines would be helpful.

ALSO - I want to color infill the engraving ---- How is this done?

I assume it would be very similar to doing ceramic tiles except more… circular.

Here’s a great thread about doing tiles. I’m sure you can find some pointers there. You might want to pick up some cheap tiles to practice on before throwing an expensive mug at it.?

any luck getting some direction on this? i’m also interested in burning mugs.
