do you have to have a laser controller . I have built a cnc 24 x 48 inch router . the controller works 3 axis . will Lightburn software work with my set up by adding a 15 watt laser head to my machine ?
LightBurn talks to the firmware on a motion controller. To answer your question, you need to tell us a bit more about your control hardware and firmware. Listing “diy 24 x 48” in your forum profile also does not help us understand what you really have, technically.
its a Hobby cnc controller 3 axis running ball screws . I have 2dcut from vetric .com . This is for use with cutting wood parts . Home made and works very well using Mach 3 and g -code . I hope that is more information . Please follow up.
