I built a 1200mm x 1200 mm CNC Laser/Plasma/routing table that utilizes an STB4100 controller ran by Mach3. I use Solidworks with the HSMexpress plug-in to generate toopaths and G-code which is great for cutting and routing but I am looking for software that will engrave images much more seamless. Is customizing laser commands possible when saving G-Code?

Hello, I’ve downloaded the trial for the LightBurn software to try out and while I like the interface thus far, I can’t find a way to make it work with my machine. The machine is a Probotix GX3750 CNC running LinuxCNC that has the 2.8 watt laser kit by J Tech. (J Tech’s site led me to LightBurn.)
