I Have a Genmitsu LC-60A . How do i change out the laser head to a Ortur LU2-10A? Wiring wise? Thier is a diffrence in voltage and number of wires.
You cannot just drop a 10w laser module in to replace a 5w module. Besides wiring and/or connector changes, the power supply may not be powerful enough. There is also the question of adapting the new module mounting to the old mounting plate. Finally, that laser frame may not be rigid enough to handle the much heavier 10w module.
Either get your 10w upgrade kit from Genmitsu or buy a 10w laser.
