Curious about how to hook up warning lights

i have spent some time reading various posts regarding hooking up warning lights. Has anyone put together a step by step on how to do this?

I read one post that seemed to indicate RDWorks needs to be used to turn on the function for light usage.
also wondering what is the output on the CN1 section (i see ground, 24v, but do the others output ground or voltage?) Anyway if anyone has a simple walkthrough on hooking up lights I would love to see it. Thanks

This is from my 6442g.

These output are sink type. You connect the 24V to the lamp and when active the output sinks the path to ground completing the circuit.

If this doesn’t answer your question, sing out.
