Hi there, I hope someone can help me I have a Atomstack 20x pro and have a diode laser 20w and I am battling to find the settings for cutting 3mm white perspex all the way through.
The only colour perspex I have managed to cut successfully with a diode laser is black, others may have had more luck though.
The material needs to absorb the frequency of the laser.
Visible light goes through perspex, even with a ‘white’ additive, which absorbs the energy. It being white reflects and disperses the energy… a poor mans mirror…
Probably why @Mooseuk is only successful with the black version. We see this lots with acrylic…
