Two workarounds here:—

One uses LB’s own text editor & the other the Windows Emoji tool.
I wasn’t aware of the Emoji thing, & it took a few goes to see how it works. Click on the Omega sign to access the Character Map, then click on your chosen symbol, then close the Emoji window to insert the symbol.
The Emoji wotsit works in the LB text box editor too.
