Can you send a full screenshot of LightBurn and updated Device Settings view?

Was there any change in behavior at all?

Can you restart the laser and test again? Then capture all content of Console from power-on and paste here.

some of it actually GOT engraved only the name though

Waiting for connection…

I think it’s fundamentally working but your controller is now crashing.

Can you send a screenshot of Edit->Device Settings? You sent the Devices window previously.

This issue may be difficult to troubleshoot as there are not a lot of success stories. After you send the screenshot we can discuss options.

where is device the settings?

Go to Edit menu. Then select Device Settings.

this?

Yes. That’s it. Looks fine.

So the times I’ve seen controller crashing on D1 you can try:

  1. Different USB port on your computer
  2. Different high quality USB cable
  3. Consider updating to the latest beta firmware:
Notification of the Update of Beta Versions xTool D1 Firmware V005 – xTool

One user had to use a different computer in order to address the issue but hopefully it won’t come to that.

I don’t have another USB cable but I did everything else

it did not work  :expressionless:

Can you describe this? Is it exactly the same? Did the firmware apply correctly?

yea it framed correctly did the name just not the other thing

Can you confirm the firmware version with $I in Console?

$I

ok

ok

[XTool D1:ver 40.30.003.01 B9]

That looks like the same firmware you had been using before. How did you try to apply the newer firmware?

i think so

It was not updated so I did

still nothing
