Device displays “Disconnected” in laser control panel

I have a Chinese 60 watt Chinese laser with Ruida controller hooked up to network and Light Burn shows “laser disconnected”

Tried multiple ip addresses on the machine and made sure Light Burn was the same, but still shows “disconnected”

Computer will ping the address fine.

Help appreciated!

How do I connect a Ruida controller with Ethernet?

Followed your directions, but 100 ip addresses apart was not available. I used an IP scan utility to find an unused ip address and set it to that, it created the new device in LightBurn and still shows Disconnected.

Pinged the address and it is replying

If you unplug the cable from the laser and ping does it still reply? Just making sure there’s really nothing else on that address.
