I have a DigitalDream UC300 control system for my CNC milling machine. Can I control it with LightBurn’s software?

You should be able to control it, but not directly - see linked notes below.

Mach3 software should be able to load and run GCode produced by LightBurn or ideally MillMage for your milling machine.

Nvum v2 Controller?

Since that is a Mach3 Controller LightBurn and MillMage are unlikely to ever directly control it. You can use the LinuxCNC profile currently to produce g-code for it but it will need some slight tweaks that you will need to figure out for your specific machine. In 1.5 we will be releasing a “Custom G-Code” type that you will be able to specify what is included in blocks like “fire” and “tool on” to more easily support controls like this and need less post processing.

Thanks for the reply. I have understood that the LightBurn program cannot correspond with the DigitalDream UC300. The program also does not find the DigitalDream device via the USB connection.

That’s correct, at this stage LightBurn will not find or communicate directly with that device even though it has a USB connection.

But from LightBurn/MillMage you can ‘Save GCode’ to file, and as long as that GCode is similar enough to the kind of GCode that Mach3 is expecting, load and run that file with Mach3 which will be connected to your UC300 device.
