You are talking about the MKS board? Yes, I think, 20mA is correct. But you don’t need much current to drive a relay board (of course, as I describe in the article, don’t use a solid state relay here but a common relay that gets its power from the mainboard power lines and only uses the input pin as a signal to toggle the relay. That is absolutely no problem for any mainboard on the market, I’d say.
Yes, I understand … in my half century of electronics, I prefer non mechanical controls…
When you replace so many failed relays, you start having relay nightmares…
I think a pause would be an incredibly awesome feature. It would get me out of turning off and on layers and the resuming. Framing the job as it is and not having to turn off layers and then flip things around would be a time saver for me. Plus, it would help when training others to run my jobs. They wouldn’t have to flip stuff off and on and potentially mess things up. Instead, they just let the first portion finish, turn on AA, and hit Start. Beautiful.
as far as I know, this air pump is not adjustable for pressure. I suggest getting a regular air compressor with volume/flow control. I had this on my last machine, but this one came with the compressor. For me, it works fine for my jobs. Understand fine engraving.
