DIY air-assist ventilation turn off delay

Hello.

Air assist work only when laser work.
So after end of work you have enclosure fill with smoke and ventilation no longer works.
So i connected car 24v delay off relay to machine.
Problem Rudia connect relay’s to GND not to +24V
So i need extra relay to drive time delay relay.

Photos are from Leetro machine

The driver was in this insane box

On machine… I rebuild whole driver and put it in small box.

The Ruida sinks the current, so one side of the relay goes to 24V the other end to the Ruida. The Ruida completes the ground when it goes active.

Just curious, what car uses 24V?

We’d have to know more about the delay part, in order to help you at all.

I’m assuming the question is how to wire this up and you’ve left off the center part of the puzzle … or the delay.

For at least some Ruida controllers, you can set a delay before the laser turns on and after it turns off, for the specific purpose of letting the exhaust air blower spin up and down.

The Ruida manuals generally do not match what’s available through the machine’s display, so poke around to see what your controller has to offer. A previous discussion may provide some pointers:

No I wire it up and it work in 2 machines.
The problem is that delay relay 24V is electronic not electro-mechanic.
So that why I need extra relay to drive it.

3SRP 1500-24V

So polarity is important for this relay

1 Is signal +24V Ruidia give GND on it.
2 Is GND

So Lightburnhave option for delay?

Why?

Most ssr use at maximum about 20mA, a solenoid much more.

Wire the ssr positive lead to 24V (pin 4) and the negative lead (pin 2) to the Ruida, it should switch it.

This used to switch my compressor and fan…

I explain that is electronic Relay and need +24V on pin 1 as start signal.
Ruida and Leetro gives GND. So you can’t connect the relay directly to driver because polarity will be inverted.

If it requires a another 24V signal different than the 12V supply power to work, that’s an odd configuration.

I tried to find this, but couldn’t, could you provide a link to both devices and their documentation.

Is there some reason you have to use that type of relay? I’m sure we can come up with something.
