Engraving glass what is best fast speed or slow

What is the best to get white engraving on glass using a 10w diode, I can get near the same outcome using a fast speed and high power as low speed and low power, what is considered the best to get a white finish

FWIW, I have a 10 w diode.

For glass, I spray cold galvanizing zinc on in a opaque layer. One pass at 100% and 1000mm/m I get a permanent black transfer. 2 passes the black marks turn white.

Your milage WIlL vary. Experience is the best teacher. Get you some cheap glass at the dollar store and find out where the best combination lies.

Wine glasses break easily. Shot glasses take a beating and don’t complain.
