Engraving problem

Hello,

I have a problem with my laser.

the problem is when engraving, when cutting everything is absolutely fine.
PWM signal on and off tested. The result is still the same.
Speed reduction to 25mm / s the same as for mode. The result is still the same.
Axis calibration. The result is still the same.

I enclose a few photos for clarification.

Does anyone have any ideas what this could cause?

What is the actual problem? You don’t describe it.

From what I can see in the pictures, the engraved part came out like a skewed oval, but the source file has it as a centered perfect circle. I think it has to do with rising verses falling edge settings on the controller.

This is an example of a fill followed by a cut around the letter A: [image] The fill is slanted, but the cut appears to be correct. If you have engraving that is slanting to one side, but cuts appear correctly, you likely have your motor pulse step polarity set incorrectly. On Ruida controllers, there’s a setting called ‘PWM Rising Edge Valid’ that you can change for each axis that tells the controller whether the rising edge or falling edge of a step pulse is what the motor driver is lookin…
