This is the issue I’m having, I have tried several fixes (images below) with no luck. The more engraving the more the machine gets out of alignment. Once I reset the machine it brings it back to its original location.
Perhaps the motor step pulse polarity is incorrect:

Was it the “motor step pulse polarity”? Just curious, as you don’t explicitly say if it was.
Yes, it was, this solved the issue completely. All other changes for testing were returned to the original settings.
