If the homing cycle is enabled in your settings, disable it

I got this same error:9 msg. Where’s this homing cycle? I don’t see it in the settings.

Try in console this code
$33=750
Press enter
Your shock sensor JUST triggered, seems a false positve

This worked for me. (So far) No errors yet. Thanks!

I am getting error #9G-code locked out during alarm or jog state.

but I cant find anything on clearing it. Or what is causing it, I got it last night but dont know what I did to clear it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I have been trying to understand this machine for 2 solid days now, so far its not my favorite thing. I hope it gets better otherwise I wasted time and money.

Remember on console errors the errors are always above the last lines
Normaly above “Job halted”
Error 9 = machine saying i am locked because of an error
But needs to find error first

I scrolled back until I found “job halted” and this is what is above it

Surelly there must be more than that
And many lines above it can you copy/paste the full console window output?

I cleared it by clicking uses selection origin, thats not what cleared it last night. I’m very disappointed.

Two things
a) Emergency switch dont necessarely triggers error 9
b) Alarm 2 though do, and that seems to be the problem on using “user defined” start place
I sugest you change start from to Absolute coordenates and work with that

Power off machine _> power back on: Make sure it homes correctly
Then try engrave a small test box using absolute coordenates

What you might be confusing is taking “User defined” literal when it must be taken programatically
To define the origin you must jog machine to the position you want to start, then in move pannel click “Set origin” button

@OrturTech What is this setting doing? Initial search indicated something about PWM but didn’t see how that would be related to this issue.

On the OLM2 firmware, the PWM frequency is static
$33 is used to adjust sensitivity of the shock sensor

None of that helped me but after getting the error #9, I couldnt get the machine to do anything. Right click on devices, this rehomes the machine and clears the error.

i have the same since the last update
