Hi all,
have a small problem with a font I need to use - its called “Perpetua Titling MT” and I need the “Bold” option but checking or unchecking “Bold” does nothing. “Italic” works as expected.
Can this be fixed or am i doing something wrong???
I’m running on a Mac/Catalina if that helps.

Looking a bit deeper it seems the “Bold” option does nothing on all fonts???
I could be wrong but I don’t think all fonts have a bold set.
The one i am most interested in certainly has one.
This might be Mac specific. I’ll have to have a look to see if there’s something additional I need to do to enable bold typefaces on Mac.

This appears to be a bug in how the Qt framework interacts with changes on Mohave & later. I’ll see if there’s anything I can do with this, but there might not be.
Hopefully you can do something, its a pretty well used function when doing text.
