HELP how to tell the laser to cut inverted image

when i click on the preview of the cut of my image. Inside that preview, you can click inverted. The inverted image cut… that is the cut I want… How do i tell the live cut to do that?

In the Cut setting itself for that layer there is an option for “Negative image”. Enable that to get the effect that you want.

i finally found that… thank you… It is under the image line and not the fill or cut line… I kept looking under the fill section and of course could not find the negative image selection

You can only invert an image, because an image has a “built in” boundary. If you’re trying to invert vectors, you just have to add (or remove) a boundary:

If you want to invert a vector engraving (Fill layer) you need to add an outline to it. Think about what happens when you scan a circle, compared to the letter ‘O’.
