I have a Gweike Cloud laser which has a ruida controller. I am able to set the z-axis focus but it resets after the job completes so multiple runs of the same task require that I reset the z axis offset each time. I want to be able to (for example) cut multiple stencil sheets w/o pausing to set the focus each time.
Is there a lightburn solution that can recognize the layer and make the appropriate z axis adjustment before the cut? I’ve played with all the check boxes I’ve found but none appear to act on the z axis controller. Maybe this is a ruida question or maybe a Gweike feature, no idea. Can I override the reset z axis action?
Thanks!

Hello! I’ve set up a post with all the info I’ve gathered on using the Gweike Cloud with Lightburn here:
It answers this question and more.
