How to Focus Diode Laser

I am brand new to laser engraving so apologies for my basic question.

I have a 15000 mw Blue CNC Laser Engraving Machine. It is a diode laser. How do I focus the laser?

You turn the lens either in or out until you get the smallest dot size.
