How to turn off Lines in engraving

i need help please. Ortur H10 20, Engraved ss tag but these lines keep showing. looks like laser is not turning off

Rick thank you for helping. I tried posting a pic but it didnt go thru but i did esrlier…i will try again. Btw using lightburn my $32=0, how do i change it to 1.

Btw i started out using Grbl but didnot like it. So i switched over to lightburn.

GRBL is the firmware on your laser controller. You can enter commands in the ‘Console’ window to change any of those settings. LightBurn also provides UI to help review or change your GRBL settings in a more accessible way. The following is worth review.
