Inconsistent starting point

Hello. I just got my new and second Atezr L2 24w, after the z-axis broke on the first on due to user error. I thought i could just use the same settings sinvæce it is the same machine, but the new machine is acting up. You see I am trying to engrave bothe sides of a piece of wood, but every time i try, the laser is off by a couple of mm. Process as follows

1.Home and adjust z-axis
2. Start the engraving
3. When engraving has finisheh, turn over the piece
4. Engrave and cut the piece to size
5. Engraving is perfect on both sides, but original engraving is now offset by a couple of mm, either up or down and/or left or right.

I have tried resetting the machine settings for the laser, make a new device profile and tightened the belts but nothing worked. Any and all suggestions would be welcomed.

After a lot of testing, I have found the problem. The machine asembly was don a bit poorly from the factory, so the belt was knawing at the protective cabe on the wires, making the fibres entangled in the anchor point :C
