I’m going to past this OP question from March of this year. Not one response from anyone. Sad. I want to get my money’s worth out of this, but it’s not looking favorable at the moment. Can anyone help with this?
I’m experiencing a problem that appears to go beyond the technical capabilities of the supplier of my fibre laser.
It is a 20W Recus JCZFibre and comes with EZCAD2 on purchase. However, as Lightburn is more superior, I immediately purchase the registration and installed LB.
Everything worked without any glitches for the past 3 weeks, and since Monday, the connection to LB is intermittently saying ‘’Framing, Disconnecting’’ I have a one time briefly saw a message at the bottom of LB “Board Signature not recognised’’. It also does not matter which Laptop I connect, it still gives the same message.
(I’m connecting the laser directly on the USB port on the laptops)
I’ve bought 4 new USB cables, un/ reinstall LB 10+ times to no resolve.
Can you please, please respond with a solution as the work is stacking up.
Within your laser’s case is a run of USB cable going from the port on the outside of the case to the board itself. Sometimes that run is faulty, or is routed too close to a power supply, causing interference. You can try opening the case and bypassing that run, connecting directly to the board instead. If that works, you can try re-routing or replacing that internal run of USB cable.
I just tried another troubleshooting approach. When the machine is on it has the framing/disconnect back and forth. I decided to try and see what it does without the machine on.It is still doing it with the machine of. To me, this appears to be a software issue. Any thoughts on this?
