I have added a CNC machine (Onefinity Pro Series) to my shop and have been using CarveCo Maker and a few other CAD/CAM programs for the past 6 month. I am currently 6 months into a 12 month trial subscription of CarveCo and will need to decide if I want to pay to purchase CarveCo Pro or move to another software program. I heard that LightBurn might be developing their own CAD/CAM software and wanted to find out if this is true. If so, I would be very interested in helping with any testing/development (Beta) that may be available. I have used Fusion 360, Carbide Create, VCarve, Easel, and CarveCo Maker. I have been using Lightburn for over a year now and love the program for its features and ease of use. I find it to be very intuitive and user friendly. I would love to find something similar for my CNC work. I hope that the rumors are true about Lightburn developing their own CAD/CAM software. The timing would be perfect for me if they were going to roll something out soon, even if just for testing.
Yes, it’s called MillMage. There have been some posts about it here on the forum so a search should give you some more info.
Yes, it’s called MillMage, although I’m not in that beta group. Don’t know if there is any special access mode you need for the link.
You might drop a note to Lightburn support with your hardware (link to this thread should do) and see what they say…
Good luck
