I think my laser is mortally wounded and want a second opinion.
It is an EleksMaker. Using the toggle button on top I cannot get the weak (positioning) mode to light the laser. When running a job, the laser lights up but has no cutting power whatsoever. Per EleksMaker instruction, I put 12v directly to the laser and it lights but, again, with no cutting power. I checked the controller board. I got 12.05v off the two pins I used.
Are there any other tests or is it time to say goodby to my friend of only two years.
