I recently got a new UV 5W laser with water cooling, but I’m having trouble connecting it to my computer. Sometimes it connects just fine, but most of the time I get the message “Unrecognized Board Signature” at the bottom of the screen. The laser also seems to be stuck in framing mode.
I’ve tested it on different computers, but the problem remains the same. I’m using the latest version of LightBurn. I also have a fiber laser and a CO2 laser that work without any issues.
I’ve tested it on different computers, both MacBook Pro and PC, but the problem remains the same. I prefer running Lightburn with my MacBook.
I’ve been searching for answers in different forums for a while now, but without success. I can see that others have had the exact same issue, but no one has posted a solution.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any idea what could be causing this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
