Issues with Alarm 2 after taking Rotary off

Hi. I had removed my rotary and restored settings for normal but now its giving the following:

<Idle|MPos:-397.000,-397.000,0.000|Bf:35,1024|FS:0,0|Pn:PS|CL:0,100|PS:2,1|ER:0,0|VA:23464,0|WCO:0.000,0.000,0.000|Ov:100,100,100|A:S>

ok

Starting stream

ALARM:2

G-code motion target exceeds machine travel. Machine position safely retained. Alarm may be unlocked. (Right-click the ‘Devices’ button to reset the connection)

On or near line 2:

Stream completed in 0:00

[MSG:Reset to continue]

This is also the 20W laser. This is the code I get when I put $# in the console

I’ve tried everything i can think of but unfortunately, i’m still pretty green at this. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I don’t know if this is what you are experiencing, but it’s worth a look

@Mooseuk Thank you, this link you shared offers a great point from the Lead Developer.

Disabling homing is necessary when using the rotary because the round thing doesn’t have an edge to trigger the switch. Reenabling homing may be different with this family of engravers.

@jengalli85 - When you first connect LightBurn to your Ortur laser engraver there’s a model name and a firmware revision number. If you’d copy and paste that into a reply here it would be most welcome. That would help us confirm whether or not your laser is affected by the novel $22=43 setting.
