Have had multiple jobs halted prematurely without error msg.
Anything showing in the console window at all? Did it just stop moving and hang there? If so, that could be USB sleeping.
I didn’t open the console to see if it had any clues. As to USB power settings, I’d already read about that issue and had changed all USB root hubs to disengaged state previously. Do you know how the cooling fans, that are part of the laser, are supposed to work i.e always on when the laser is on or sense heating (thermistor control) and come on to cool it down?
Diode fans typically come on when the laser is enabled, though some of them just run all the time.
