I bought an offbrand Atomstack A5, called Befon. I picked it up on Amazon for $180 (what is going on with laser engravers? Like every other week there is one on crazy discount). The laser module is labeled Atomstack L40. I used it to engrave anodized aluminum. I searched to get an idea of what settings to use, but didn’t find much. So if anyone else is looking, the picture shows my results. Using Lightburn, I started at 100% power and 1000 mm/min, then went down to 20% power and 750 mm/min, with no appreciable loss in resolution. Cool.
