Laser firing at the very edge of overscan area

I’m running into issues that seem very similar to this post (Laser firing at end of overscan pass)

In the old forum post, the setting for the overscan power is found on an SD card, but I don’t have any SD card involved in my process. Is there any way to check into the code that there is no laser firing in the overscan area?

I’m using an Orion K40 with a MiniGRBL board. I’ve never had any issues with overscan, my files haven’t changed, and it happens on every file.
