I have read the topic of using LB to run a plasma cutter and noted it has closed. However, I am working through the same issue as posted, keeping the torch ignited after the pause/cut-through command. There was mention of a feature under development. In the meantime, I worked out that my torch needs 0.5 seconds to ignite and at a travel speed of 1800mm/min (my ideal cutting speed) which is 15 mm of travel. To get over the problem of the ignition delay I added a lead-in of 15mm so the torch had time to ignore before cutting the shape.
If there is now an alternative or if the beta version has been released and includes the option of keeping the torch on I would love to hear what it is.
