License Deactivation And Reactivation Issue

I am removing Windows 10 32 bit from all 3 of my laptops and replacing it with Windows 10 64 bit. I have 3 seats on my LightBurn license. Two of the laptops still have the 32 bit on them, and LightBurn is still working. The third laptop, I have already installed the 64 bit. When I did that, I forgot to deactivate the LightBurn license on the laptop before I replaced the OS. How can I use the LightBurn license portal to fix this issue? The only option I see there is to delete the seat, and I don’t want to do that. As for the other 2 laptops, if I am correct, all I should need to do is to deactivate the license for each in the license management section of the LightBurn program before reinstalling the OS, correct? Then it would just be a matter of reinstalling LightBurn and putting the key in? I am thinking that someone from LightBurn is going to have to go into the license portal and clear the entry for me. If that is the case, the entry that needs to be worked with is tagged as DESKTOP-3V6T4D0. Thanks for any advice or help on this!

I’d suggest just installing 64-bit Windows and then attempting to enter the key into LightBurn. It will complain if a seat is unavailable. If it does that it’s just a matter of navigating to the particular activation that you no longer need, then deleting the activation.

This would work fine. Ultimately it’s no different then deleting the activation from the Portal.

That shouldn’t be required unless you’re not able to login or have some other odd scenario.

It appears you are correct. I just reinstalled on laptop 3 and activated it smoothly, without issues. Thanks for the suggestion to try it.
