Okay, let us try this one again… Copy the last 10-15 lines from the console window in your reply.
i cant find the Continuous Jog in the move window?
Device Settings window…
Then turn it on and off in the Move window.
Seems the problem maybe you were only moving 10mm at 50mm/min thus jamming things up by clicking numerous times to try and get it to move.
Yeah, but I am sure he learned a lot along the way…
this worked!!! now i can move the laser anywhere, aslong as i want in the move window …but
i wanted to “frame” the object and i got the 97% stuck again -.-
the seconds screenshot:
startup the laser
tried move → worked
moved back to 0.0 → worked
pressed “play” → controller gets stuck again at, does not move at all. time counts down
the screenshot is after 6 seconds, but i waitet 5 min…nothing happen!
Enable Cut Selected Graphics in the Laser window.
I (we) will be thinking of what to ask next.
Ok, need 2 more screen shots…
- The Lightburn workspace with all the boundaries showing.
- The Cut Settings Editor window.
Yugo (LG) and Mercedes (LB). Not the same.
Workspace showing border scales like this. Same screen as above, but without the pop-up windows and clutter.
I still can imagine communication issues as the cause. If LaserGRBL does work (it has a much more stable and reliable USB communication than LB has), then it’s probably the weak LB serial communication again. Try to toggle the “enable DTR signal” option in device settings. That might do the trick.
In the image in Posting #29, it appears your image right side is near 470mm. The full image you just provided shows it closer to 350mm. We cannot diagnose if you are changing the conditions.
With the image located where it is shown now, what happens when you try to run the program?
it gets always stuck. i changed all. atleast 25 tries with differnt setting
i tried to change the origin from top left to bottom left to right top. all same result
i change the image size, and the location.
i even tried a new image and a normal text out of LB
evertime i start the programm gets stuck
At this point i might just leave it the way it is. i can still use the vevor software or laser grbl
when i think i like it and use it for more and more projects i might just buy a new laser…
atm im looking at the Creality Falcon2 22W
i would continue to fix my issue. anyway thank so so much for your help to this point
Maybe it’s a mechanical issue, here’s you test image.
Here’s one I did in Lightburn. on a Vevor A7 5w.
The wiggly lines and wobbly engrave look like a possible mechanical issue.
Check out these docs.
Hope this helps.
If for some reason you have two Lightburn windows open, only one will respond to Move.
Or any controller command too.
Please do not give up yet, if this is what you mean.
is it also so small? mine is 2 cm only
i will read your links. thx
