Hi,
I’m all day trying to connect my gweike g2 pro 30w to Ligthburn and the Lightburn does not see the laser. I tried different versions, or USB ports and nothing. Where could be the problem? Thanks
Hi Marek,
Welcome to the forum.
Use the latest version of LightBurn, available from here
You’ll need to install this driver
https://api.gweikecloud.com/static/service/CypressDriverInstaller.zip
I have the same device, so you can import my settings file here to add it:
Gweike_G2_Pro_Aa.lbzip (193.0 KB)
Oh, and here’s my Material Library for the Gweike G2 Pro 30W
Gweike-G2Pro-30W-150mm-Aa.clb (20.0 KB)
If you also use the 150mm lens, those presets will save you a lot of time finding cut settings.
All in all, I’ve probably spent more than a day finding those by running Material Tests, so that should make up the time you lost with the connection issues ![]()
Let me know how it goes.
Now it is connected, thanks ![]()
210mm unfortunatelly
The 210mm lens has a larger field size and therefore a larger spot size.
That means lower power density.
Lowering the speeds about 30% or increasing the number of passes should give similar results.
Thanks a lot
