Lightburn Freezes If

Really puzzling.
Several projects on the X table, hundreds on the rotary, never encountered this before.

Seven 99mmX99mm squares. Rotary fine with this file (X table)

Same file, as soon as I make the end square different, and try to run the file, LB freezes. Hard. Every time. Can’t wait it out.

It can’t be a memory thing, this file runs all day long.

But, today, if I put a little square at the end, it freezes also.

Started with a reboot, fresh file, No Joy.
Started with the proven machete file, erased the machete and tried that.
Been using LB, rotary for almost 3 years, rotary table and X table several projects no issues until today.

Win 10 pro, Dell with an i5.
No updates recently.
Files attached, can be tested on a regular rotary.
It freezes as soon as the first frame button is selected.

Re-opened, deleted the square, back to normal.

test-Freezes.lbrn2 (4.5 KB)
test-Works.lbrn2 (4.3 KB)

More tests:
This freezes:

But this doesn’t:

So it’s not distance from center.

More tests, this didn’t freeze using scale to reduce to 80%

But made it smaller with the drag buttons and then it did.

It’s using the cursor to move, the 80% quit working after a drag.

Good, Used scale:

Good, used left arrow to move.

Just can’t drag or create box with cursor arrow very far outside the work area.

Interesting - please try this again in LightBurn-v2.0.00-RC-7

Hello, @NicholasL I have some time today, I’ll try the upgrade. I also made a bug report, tidied up the info and tried with my rotary, removed the XY Table factor. No difference of course. It seems that in the positive X direction I can’t replicate, everything good, and also OK a little way into the negative X. I’ll let you know. Thanks.

Hello, @NicholasL
No joy. Installed, rebooted, started with fresh file.
Way to the right, Live framing works

Way to the left, Live framing freezes

Way to the left, skip the framing and select start, jumps right to the rotary marking screen

And framing works from the rotary marking screen.

So it appears to be isolated to the “Frame” command from the main screen. Either Cut Frame or Rubber Band Frame

So issue not affecting workflow, when “Require Framing” is disabled in “Device Settings” and “Start” is selected.
NOTE: Last test doublecheck, doesn’t matter if "Require Framing is “on” or “off” if “Start” is selected instead of “Frame”.
