2.0 will be the final release that supports macOS 11 — subsequent releases will require macOS 12 (and higher).

You will always be able to use the most recent version of LightBurn that is compatible with your operating system and was released within your license’s valid update period. To download an earlier version of LightBurn that is compatible with an outdated operating system, visit our release repository.

This build includes the following updates:

I think the link to the release candidate itself was forgotten.

Updated to include the link. You can also click the ‘Help’–>‘Check for Updates’ menu to pull-down the latest.

Hello everyone, I think it would be great to be able to merge the designs of drawings. Indeed as I work on three machines at a time, it is running that I load new drawings in a librarian and when I change my machine, I do not necessarily find them if necessary. This function would in my opinion be a top dan the 2 version which soon arrives

@Soina06, Not confident I am fully understanding this request. Share an example of the steps you take and the expected results, and include the results you get. You may not be loading the same Art Libraries when changing devices. The following is worth review:

Hello, did you take out the experimental lens calibration method?

Dont know what language update means but when you select german as language you have the same string twice in port settings. This is confusing and this error maintained through out a few releases

String “Betriebslicht”

Thank you for reporting. Investigating further.

Thank you for reporting. Share the steps you are taking and a few screenshots to help us see what you are observing.

I was just trying the RC-9 and immediately had some issues while trying to preview an offset fill if I try to cancel it with the button or esc button it just opens again over and over.

Thank you for reporting. Investigating further… Please share a screenshot of the Cut settings for that layer. In particular, I want to check the Interval setting. With that, I will generate a report. I have seen reports of the Preview taking some time to complete when the Line Interval is set high.

Interval is right there 0.1

Well, yes it is, thank you @Javo01. I need more coffee, it appears.

What is your reasoning for using ‘Offset Fill’ for this job. I ask because Offset Fill is not intended for “general use”. Offset Fill is intended for designs with a lot of space between graphics, to cut down on the amount of travel time necessary to fill large, hollow shapes. For the work you share, I suggest you use ‘Fill Shapes Individually’ with a normal Fill.

I have generated an internal report.

@Rick This one in particular doesn’t really need the offset, but I’m used to see how the offset fill would handle the time because if there’s a big differences in time between offset and just the normal fill I would use then there should be a way to arrange the groups to improve the engraving times

There are several options available for how the fills are done. The following short explains:

@Rick I found the experimental, it used to have an item within the lasertool menu for experimental calibration, now I see it is only on right click on the camera panel.

Oh, yes, the Labs feature with Lens Tracking.
Some great wizard put a lot of work into this. It’s the future!

Please report any bugs or issues.

To try to be more precise, I have a machine with a computer in my office, and two others with two ordidinators in my workshop. If I modify a library by adding graphics in the office How to merge this library with a promoting the same name on other computers? If this is currently not possible in view, it would be a supereting function given that the license is valid on three computers …

Save the Art Library to storage that is also accessible to all computers, like a network drive. The other option is to save the library to a USB key and transfer that to the remaining computers, then use ‘Load’ to bring that library into LightBurn.

The bug on port select(galvo) to select device is still there, also in 2.0 new release.

No lightburn instance opened yet.
I have two galvos. Named it galvo1 and galvo2. Both are turned on.
I open a lightburn instance, then go to devices and select JCZ galvo device.
By default it always conect first to galvo1 (port 10)
But I want to use galvo2, so I go to port list an select port 11 (galvo 2)
Lightburn frezzes until y force close.

So this is what i have to do:
No lightburn instance opened yet.
Both galvo are turned on.
I open a lightburn instance, then go to devices and select JCZ galvo device.
It conects as always to galvo1 (port 10)
I leave this instance opened, even I’m not going to use it.
Then I open a second lightburn instance, then go to devices and select JCZ galvo device.
It conects as always to galvo1 (port 10), (unusable because is in use in the first instance. the auto mode seems to not work properly).
I want to use galvo2, so I go to port list an select port 11 (galvo 2)
All fine. I can work now on galvo 2.

So, i need to have one lightburn instance conected to galvo1 in order to be able tu use galvo2
