I’ve been experimenting with RC-3.

In the preview, the cut legend (which is pretty cool) displays black for the cut and pink for the move.

However, the actual black cut output appears whitish, making it difficult to see. This issue occurs in all three modes: line, fill, and offset fill.

I’m using Windows 11 Home.

Small cosmetic suggestion,
Icon list at the top is, to my taste, a little too clumsy, is it possible to change the icons to look like them from the “Laser” window?, it will give a better overall impression.

And when we are in Laser window…, red background or writing color or a thin colored frame for stop and green for start/send will be much appreciated.

Thank you for drawing our attention to this. Yes, we have received a few others, reporting the same. This is being looked into, part of the new Theming options added with this version. Thanks again for reporting.

Have pinged and shared with devs @bernd.dk, thanks for the feedback.

Edit: There continues to be ongoing discussions about UI / UX, changes we’d like to make, so the timing of this feedback is helpful. As for when we might start to see changes, … Not a small effort, it will take a bit of time.

For WeCreat users, please use the provided bundle here - it disables G53 and automatic configuration fetching from GRBL using a Custom GCode profile.

We’re still waiting for WeCreat to create their own Vendor bundle for the machine, but this should work in the meantime.

In dark mode, I’m getting ghosting/shadowing on the non-selectable menu items. This is on a 4k monitor.

Hello in the logs, it states Xtool D1 homing fixed, was the Xtool S1 homing issue fixed as well? I have not had the chance to get in to my workshop to try. Thank you Brian

Yes, I have the same problem.

Thanks for reporting this, I’ve found the issue and it should be fixed in the next RC.

I don’t think this is quite right. It should be “время гравировки” and not “Задание завершено в”

I don’t think this is quite right. It should be “engraving time” and not “Job completed in”

Yes, thank you for asking. Both the D1 and S1 homing issues have been addressed. I will update the list above for clarity. Again, thanks!

I’m just over here hoping they can fix the screen scaling issue…

Preview for images is also whitish

I assume this was something you reported earlier, Carl? Link? I can check our internal systems for status, but need a bit more detail.
