Starting in 2.0, LightBurn supports only Windows 10 (and higher) or macOS 11 (and higher) operating systems. Linux operating systems are no longer supported.
2.0 will be the final release that supports macOS 11 — subsequent releases will require macOS 12 (and higher).
You will always be able to use the most recent version of LightBurn that is compatible with your operating system and was released within your license’s valid update period. To download an earlier version of LightBurn that is compatible with an outdated operating system, visit our release repository.
This build includes the following updates:

Remove null-terminator from strings before using “endswith”
Machine size mismatch logic failed with swapped X/Y axis
Fixing theme related bugs reported in LightBurn 2.0 RC2.

Existing Feature Updates
Double click macro in manager to edit. (#762)
Offsetter can now show progress for Offset fills, faster offset sorting
Improved handling for XTool D1 and XTools S1 with homing command
Fixed “simple mode” to not suppress galvo features, like alt source on Sculpfun

New Features

camera control preview will now pause when the tab/window is not visible
Small cosmetic suggestion,
Icon list at the top is, to my taste, a little too clumsy, is it possible to change the icons to look like them from the “Laser” window?, it will give a better overall impression.
And when we are in Laser window…, red background or writing color or a thin colored frame for stop and green for start/send will be much appreciated.
Thank you for drawing our attention to this. Yes, we have received a few others, reporting the same. This is being looked into, part of the new Theming options added with this version. Thanks again for reporting.
Have pinged and shared with devs @bernd.dk, thanks for the feedback.
Edit: There continues to be ongoing discussions about UI / UX, changes we’d like to make, so the timing of this feedback is helpful. As for when we might start to see changes, … Not a small effort, it will take a bit of time.
For WeCreat users, please use the provided bundle here - it disables G53 and automatic configuration fetching from GRBL using a Custom GCode profile. WeCreat_LB_2.0.00_19-feb-2025.lbzip (30.1 KB)
Hello in the logs, it states Xtool D1 homing fixed, was the Xtool S1 homing issue fixed as well? I have not had the chance to get in to my workshop to try. Thank you Brian
