The reason for having the pointer offset is to accommodate for the offset red cross-hairs. If you’re not using the cross-hairs then this can throw-off the apparent alignment and position.
it frames correctly and re-homes correctly. does not burn… still give overscan window as posted above. also, when i bypass that window by clicking continue, it makes an L-shaped jog in both x and y and returns home. no burning.
Can you do a select all on the workspace and then take another screenshot? I’m curious if you have extraneous images or if the image itself is wider than what’s visible.
Can you confirm that you disabled the Pointer Offset in Edit->Device Settings?
If yes, then try moving the design closer to the center of the workspace. It seems you should have plenty of room for overscan but there may be something else going on.
I wish i could upload a video so you could visually see it. it frames correctly but it does not do anything similar as far as movements after clicking start on lightburn.
That’s showing you the planned path of the laser (which should match the diode location). However, there’s nothing in Preview that shows you the absolute position of the laser.
You can upload to an external site and link here.
Instead of using an image, I’d suggest maybe starting with a simple rectangle created in LightBurn. That will eliminate a lot of variables.
