I’m cutting vinyl that i put on plywood so i can use it as a stencil. but it isn’t cutting the letters all the way, it is skipping parts of them
Do not cut vinyl with a laser. It will create chlorine gas that is toxic and will ruin your laser.

This thread includes a horrible picture that may speak more than a kiloword about vinyl cutting:
You can get laser-safe “vinyl” sheet, which turns out to be polyurethane, although it’s both more expensive and maybe not available in the sizes you want.
A picture will help us see what you see, with the caveat about vinyl remaining in full effect.
