I’ve been successful using the SnapMaker Ray with the 20W/40W Diode Module using Lightburn, however; unable to find any info on using the 2W IR Module with my SnapMaker Ray.. it does work using Luban Software, but would prefer using Lightburn… HELP! 
Have you installed the IR per the provided instructions?
Have you tried using Lightburn?
Most of these that I’ve seen use only a three wire system. Ground, power and the pwm signal that tells it when to lase.
According to the Snapmaker people it should work with Lightburn. If the visible light laser works, I’d expect the IR module to work.

I had a look for IR2W info and downloads but couldnt find anything. What have you tried and how far did you get?
I have the ray and 20w running but having issues with coordinates. I have the IR2w but wont take it out of the box until machine is all sorted.
I would be most interested in heating how you progress with IR setup.
