This is what I get in the console window when I try and start a job. It will frame the job just fine, but not start the actual burn.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I’m about ready to toss this thing.

And When i hit the frame button, it does the frame and then gives me thisd (just in case there is something there that you might need to know):

Can you take a full screenshot of LightBurn with your design, Laser window, and Cut window showing?

You’re not showing the Cuts/Layers window in the screenshot. Can you upload another screenshot with that showing?

Also, can you click the Preview button and take a screenshot?

Sorry about that.
Thank you for taking the time.

I don’t see anything obvious there but one thing is giving me a clue.

I suspect you have Z axis enabled. Go to Edit->Device Settings and disable Z axis if you have it enabled. Test again.

If not, can you take a screenshot of the Device Settings window?

Disabled z-axis. Tried again. Same thing - frames but won’t burn.

Can you describe exactly what happens when you attempt to burn? Any detail or observation could be relevant.

Also, please push “Save Gcode” in Laser window and save the gcode to a file with an extension of .txt and upload here. Would like to see what’s being sent to the laser.

Finally got it to burn! I checked the device settings again and noticed the z axis was enabled. I am sure i disabled it, but at least now i know.
