can i ask you what kind of post-production you make?
mine have rubber feet but i give sealant only on surface, and they came whit a bamboo holder

Post production I just spray them with 4 continuous coats of Zinsser Shellac all at one time. Only the top and the sides as I work my way around them. Zinsser is the only sealer I have used that doesn’t flake off over time.

Hi Have you tried water based poly bench sealer. It sticks like a water based glue and helps hold the slate from chipping and resists hot cup marks.
So, am I the only person that didn’t know that Concrete could get knocked up???
Where do you think the slate coasters come from?
