just purchased your software, great product. extremely easy to use, particularly like the trace function. I also wish to thank your for the help you have given me with the problems I have encountered.
unfortunately, I have another issue. I have amassed a number of files that I wish to now delete but cannot do so, I get a message stating: file is open in a COM SURROGATE.
suggestions, please.

That’s the thumbnail previewer, but it shouldn’t be holding files open. You should be able to just drag the files into the trash bin - does that work?
You can also log out of windows or shut down / restart, and that should work too. The files should only be open in the thumbnail previewer long enough to make the preview, and then it’s cached.
