I laser cut the EVA foam for a buddy’s model paint case. Here’s his fully assembled results:

Very nice. I do a lot of foam tool drawer liners with EVA as well.

EVA foam eh…where do you source thst from? Seems like a lot of fun to play with. I take thst it doesnt burst into flames like some other foams?

Most arts & craft supply stores sell it. It’s very popular for cosplay costumes.
It does stink pretty bad for a while, so exhaust the fumes carefully and plan to leave the cut pieces somewhere away from humans (like in the garage) for a while - maybe a day or two.
This was my first time cutting it. It didn’t cause a fire in my laser this time. Always watch it. Be prepared to put out a fire at any moment.
