Moves on X-axis but not Y-axis

Newbie needing help!

I setup my Ortur Laser Master 2 yesterday. I can get the laser to start engraving my image. The laser will burn on the x-axis (horizontal), but will not advance on the y-axis (vertical). I also get a homing error.

I checked my cable and looked at forums for help but haven’t found anything pertaining to my issue.
