Can someonw please guide me to resove the below issue .

I recently bought Ortur laser master 2 pro the latest Ortur model, for the very first trial the machine shook violently and I had to emergency stop it after that I am having trouble in executing any job.

In the second trial it worked for few seconds than stopped . Now it just do homing and we cant even do Framing. below is error log.

OLF 152.

[MSG: Flame detector active,Ambient infrared value:4091]

Grbl 1.1f [’$’ for help]

[MSG:’$H’|’$X’ to unlock]

error:9
G-code locked out during alarm or jog state.

The message “MSG: Flame detector active,Ambient infrared value:4091” is just saying it is active and OK. THAT is NOT your issue…

Your issue is… ALARM:9 : Homing fail. Could not find limit switch within search distance. That means that either the machine is moving in the wrong direction trying to find the switches, or they didn’t trigger, and both point to a wiring issue or a settings issue. The machine comes pre-configured, so unless you altered settings it’s likely wiring. Double check the wiring to the limit switches, and make sure the wires to the switches are coming out of the proper side, and the switches are mounted so the machine is making contact with them correctly.

Type $$ in the console and press enter. Your controller will respond with firmware settings - copy those here so we can see them.
when you type $$ in console, it will output all Grbl settings

Please find the output of $$ command. Please advise if there is a configuration issue. Ortur laser Master 2 Pro is the model name.

ok

I don’t think this is a homing failure - I think the Ortur firmware is locked because there’s too much ambient light for the flame sensor to work. I don’t know which firmware setting controls that though. @OrturTech would know, or you could contact Ortur Support directly.

I looked it up on Ortur’s site:

$261=0 is to disable the flame detection.

did you sort the problem ?

It took me 5 hours to find the solution, I use a Ortur Laser Master 2 Pro, and it turned out that all I had to do was to change a setting on the “Start From” - changed it from Absolute Coordinates to Current Position. Hope this works for you to remove this error [MSG: Flame detector active,Ambient infrared…]
