My qweike laser is no longer autofocusing. It was working perfectly last time I used it. Now, suddenly the focusing stopped working. I am wondering if the update changed things. I made no changes to setting. Z-focus control enabled.
Hi @dchlaser
In current LightBurn versions, enter the actual material thickness in Material (mm) — so for 1.5mm stock enter that value, you no longer need to use the -17 method.
This Gweike-specific guide is worth checking:
I have figured out the issue. It was confusion between how I named the layers and the material which were almost the same. So I thought the material thickness was added to the layer and it was not. This was more confusing because I had link the layer so the material thickness was not shown. I am still not quite sure what was going on since I have been using Lb for a long time but somehow the material thickness was not getting assigned. I am going to make a request to have an indicator on the layer line in the cut/layer tab so to confirm if material is assigned to the layer or not.
